Understanding Skier Types
Type I (Beginner/Cautious)
Prefers slow to moderate speeds on gentle to moderate slopes. Cautious skiing style. Lower DIN settings to ensure release in a fall.
Type II (Intermediate)
Skiers who are not Type I or Type III. Prefers a variety of speeds and terrains. The vast majority of recreational skiers fall into this category.
Type III (Advanced/Aggressive)
Prefers fast speeds on moderate to steep terrain. Aggressive skiing style. Higher DIN settings to prevent pre-release.
